Hi Jondra , thanks for joining us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?

Being you and understanding that everybodies journey is different is what it takes to be successful. You have to find your purpose first and once you find that then the passion comes out. When you love something you don’t half-step it right?! Everyday you look forward to pouring into that something. It’s a process to keep building but the key is to learn while on the journey, every step matters whether it is big or small to get to what success looks like for you.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

My name is Jondra Lowe I was raised in a small town Franklin, LA. I am a woman of many hats a daughter, sister, coach, founder, and last but not least a mother. Having a daughter changed my whole outlook on life. She’s always the spark to keep me focused on my goals. I always knew that I would be a leader from the people I was surrounded by growing up. I was surrounded by love from my family/ friends no matter what phase in life I was in the love never wavered. That is what played a huge part in the person I am today. My brand Support 2 Inspire was created in 2019, shout out to Ashley Marshall for the whole branding from the beginning to currently. Support 2 Inspire stems from one of my phases in life where I would pour into others and forget to pour into myself. When you pour, pour, and pour eventually you lose who you are. It took me a while to set boundaries and get back to loving myself and putting myself first. I wanted to use this platform to get the message out of the importance of self-love/happiness through apparel. In the year 2021-2022, I wanted to support local artists from my area and create signature feel-good music for my brand, shout out to the late great Naquita Young aka Queen Qui who created the title song Support 2 Inspire. Then came Wentrell Thomas aka Nòmha who created the title song The Toast. Both of these songs can be found on Apple Music and all other platforms. I reached out to Josh Stewart aka Smooveshotdat (Local Videographer) who at the time was slowly on the rise and I told him the vision I wanted for my brand promo with the theme song being the single Support 2 Inspire. I believe investing in these local talented people was the best decision I ever made for my brand, that’s where the shirt you ain’t own until you support your own was created from. Fast forward to 2024 what started as just a clothing line turned into a lifestyle for me. You may be asking “What does she mean by that?” I had a friend (Lillian McDaniel) when I first started this brand who told me “Think global and not local.” it took me a few years to truly understand what she meant by that. She saw something bigger for Support 2 Inspire before I did. I say all that to say that self-love/happiness requires phases whether that’s fitness, eating better, or giving yourself grace just a few examples. For me personally, I’m on my self-love fitness phase.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

My audience was built through consistency, hashtags, and being authentic. I’ve learned over time the power of using hashtags reaches a wide range of people from all over so it’s certainly important to use hashtags to help build your social media.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

Being involved with the youth by coaching and founding two travel basketball teams has opened up an avenue by them seeing me in my Support 2 Inspire gear or curious about my brand tattoos that I have on my right arm.
