I’m Jonathan Ocampo, a cameraman hailing from the vibrant city of Los Angeles, California. Born and raised in the eclectic San Fernando Valley, my journey into the world of visual storytelling was sparked by a deep-rooted love for the arts – from music and dance to painting. Shots by Easy is more than just a collection of images; it’s a visual narrative capturing fleeting moments and showcasing how I perceive the world. My camera serves as a conduit for storytelling, freezing moments in time and reflecting the beauty I find in everyday life. The name “Shots by Easy” reflects the simplicity of capturing life’s intricate moments. It’s about making the art of visual storytelling accessible and relatable. Through my lens, I aim to share the stories that unfold around me, celebrating the diverse and ever-evolving cultural landscape of Los Angeles. As a visual artist, I find inspiration in collaboration. Having been surrounded by incredibly skilled musicians and artists, I’ve learned the value of true artistry – the ability to manifest one’s vision while also bringing another’s imagination to life. What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

As an artist and creative, the most rewarding aspect for me is the ability to tell my story through my work.
