Today we’d like to introduce you to Jonathan Monroe aka Jaymoe da rookie.
Hi Jonathan, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My story starts with me being a class clown in my younger days even in daycare and now as an adult I’ve been doing comedy for 5 years and I’m loving the grind and the results that I’m getting from my hardwork
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No it hasn’t been a smooth road at all I’ve done lost a lot love ones that I really wanted them to.see my comedy shows so they could laugh and be proud of me… But some of my struggles were not practing enough, studying the greatest enough and focusing on my comfortably on stage when I have shows
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
In the real world I am a detailer I clean new and used cars to pay bills while at night I’m a full blown comedian who is getting ready for the next level of comedy…. What I’m mostly proud of is the growth within myself and life it self I’ve been through so much that only God could of brought me through… Then what set me apart from others would be my grind and the love I have to see others laugh at my pain
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters to me most is my daughter she’s is my everything and my biggest headache then it’s my soon to be wife and our son son they keep me going when I wanna quit at times because I’m so overwhelmed with the pressure of being successful for them.
