We recently connected with Jonathan Kaiss and have shared our conversation below.
Jonathan, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you share a customer success story with us?
There was a time that I DJ, a wedding and the son of the bride had to go to the hospital with the babysitter, I then re-organize the timeline and helped her get everything done so that she could leave and go be with her son. She really appreciated me being able to work so diligently and efficiently.

Jonathan, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I was in a live band, so I had all of the equipment needed except for turntables. I was at a wedding and asked the DJ how much he was making and that was the moment I decided I wanted to DJ. I am very much a people person and love serving people, so it fit my personality. And at the end of every gig if the client is happy, then that just makes my day.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
I have had to learn that you can’t please everybody, there’s always going to be someone upset eventually. If I’m at a wedding, then my goal is to please the bride and groom first, but if I’m at a party or event, then I just try to please the majority.

Can you talk to us about how your side-hustle turned into something more.
I had many jobs on the side, such as producing music or videography, I worked at Vanderbilt Hospital for two years before I could go full-time DJing after Covid.
