JoJo , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?

Consistency, determination, honesty, and trust :) You also can’t do it alone! I always wanted to build a team of talented, trustworthy, and hard working women! That’s what I have accomplished within the last 3 years. So grateful for them. You need a team you can build with!

JoJo , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I started in the entertainment industry in my early 20’s. I was always scared to try to break into the business but the heart wants what it wants and I decided to go for it. In the beginning, I was more about being on camera. I was a promotional model, ring card girl, extra, and did some small modeling for companies. I got my big break when I was discovered by a casting producer for one of the biggest reality shows in the world, “Big Brother”. That really gave me even more confidence to keep going! Although I didn’t win the show, 12 years later I’m still capitalizing off of it and have found the most loyal fan base ever. Reality tv and social media go hand in hand so it was only natural for me to head in that direction. Since then I’ve also co-written and recorded 2 songs (music was also another one of my passions). I’ve done small acting gigs after the show as well and even my own first music video. I slowly transitioned into the influencer side of Instagram and Facebook. When the pandemic happened, a new social platform became extremely popular called “only fans”. At first I was very skeptical since it didn’t have the best reputation as far as the type of content creators create for the platform. But I kept having so many of my big brother fans asking me to join the platform and they said I didn’t have to do risky content to make money. I signed up and really got good at the way the site is navigated, how to be successful, and how to stay successful. I really enjoyed that personal connection you get to have with your true fans. Hence why the site is called only “fans”. I would have never joined if I didn’t already have a big following and fan base to work off of. That then lead into managing models/influencers and reality stars accounts since most of them didn’t know how to properly use the site, didn’t have time, or didn’t have the patience for it. Back then i was working with a management company. The company was very greedy. They took advantage of me and my talents. But I did learn a lot from it and I also met my best friend through them. They would send me models to manage. When I left the company, 2 of the girls I was managing left with me. This was solely their choice. Since then, I was looking for a team of women I could work with and trust but not just anyone. Quality women. 3 years later, I have a beautiful team of 3 women I work with and we are all friends who help eachother succeed. We are not just social media influencers, we also are actresses and business women. We all help eachother to continue to get bookings and collaborate to help eachother grow. It’s about being there for eachother and succeeding together. We treat everything we do with professionalism and honesty. It’s all about building together and business. No BS. We look for longevity and continued success. Excited for what the future will hold and how much farther we can all grow together.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

Being myself. Always being honest. I’ve never done shady business. Don’t lie, cheat, or steal. I build my bridges, I don’t burn them.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?

Confidence and you have to believe in the people you work with. Have to be able to trust them and cannot be any jealousy or competition. If you don’t work as a team, it will not work. As well as sending each other ideas, meetings together, and of course, enjoying what we do!
