We recently connected with Johnson Guzman and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Johnson thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Taking care of customers isn’t just good business – it is often one of the main reasons folks went into business in the first place. So, we’d love to get a conversation going around how to best help clients feel appreciated – maybe you can share something you’ve done or seen someone do that’s been really effective at helping a customer feel valued?
I give the customers great service, quality over quanity! I appecreciate every customers for letting me put a piece of my art on them. Also, for giving me the opportunity to improve myself into a better artist than I was yesterday. Thank you!
Johnson, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I have always been an artist throughout my years. I started tattooing when I realized I wanted to boost my career in art. The main things I want out of tattooing is, to learn everyday, make customers happy, and advance in the future.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Word to mouth was effective in marketing. Advertising my stories on a social media platform, helped me gain more flollwers and viewers. Having good service play a roll in your reputation , creating memories and a good relationship with our customers.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
Having more workers to meet customers demands and consistency! Having more than one artist really helps, and the right team For the job! Also, giving artists the oppprtunity to be licensed with our apprenticeship to serve our community.
