We were lucky to catch up with Johnny Roth recently and have shared our conversation below.

Johnny, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?

I used to believe Success was measured by one’s bank account. That you just start up a business and it sort of just all falls into place.

However I realized that success is so much more. It is measured by our failures and set backs. To we fold or push through the hard times? Overcoming obstacles as they arise. Being persistent and relentless. If you get knocked down on Monday be back at it on a Tuesday with an even better attitude. Not because your happy you took an L. But because you learned from your mistakes and after some adjustments know you don’t ever have to make that same mistakes again.
I heard a good saying. ‘ in perfect action is better than no action at all’ that and the sooner you fail the sooner you learn’

So that’s why I believe that success is not just the amount of money you have in your account. It’s the road and journey that leads to a well stocked business account. Success starts in our minds and is executed by our actions. Some right some wrong, but always evolving and moving forward. Admitting where we fall short and making corrective action.

It’s ok if you fail. Just get out there give it your best don’t 1/2 ass anything and learn from your mistakes. Lead by example! You can’t do it all alone so create an amazing team.

Here’s Johnny!…… Home & Commercial Services. I want to turn it into a house hold name. Without jeopardizing top notch quality and Customer Service.

At Here’s Johnny we believe in putting Quality over Everything, Except Safety. Safety for our team but also safety for our customers and their property. When I say Quality I don’t just mean the workmanship. Also in our interactions with clients and the community.

As of now we offer Pressure Washing, Window Cleaning, Post Construction Clean, Fence Staining and Sealing natural stone. Let’s not forget Custom Holiday Lighting. As we progress we plan to add more services to make it as seamless for our customers as possible. A 1 stop shop from the best service provider in DFW and hopefully Nation Wide.

We don’t just clean we restore, make it look new again. It’s satisfying to know we are making this world a better more attractive place one project at a time.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

So I was working at a steel mill, putting in 12 hr shifts on a rotating schedule. Days to Nights. Nights to days. Weekends and Holidays included. The money was good but the schedule was not. Plus there was a limit on how far I could advance in a certain time frame. I felt I was already maxed out until someone retired or quit. I’m always evolving and wanting to take it to the next level. So I did what any start up entrepreneur would do. I looked up the cheapest start up company then I came up with pressure washing and window cleaning. Threw myself into countless hours of YouTube videos, Facebook groups and training seminars. Then I took the risk and do not recommend this to everyone. I quit my full time job making close to 6 figures a year. Cashed out my 401 k, built a pressure washing rig. Bought some Yard signs. Started to practice on my family’s homes. Got some jobs from the neighbors seeing me work. Then I had some life set backs. Struggled with some personal/ Relationship problems. That really got me off track that and the season ends or slows in the winter months. My accounts started to dwindle away and I had no choice but to go back to the steel mill. That got me through the long winter months. Then my phone started ringing in the spring. Landed a Re accruing commercial account. That’s all I needed was a little wind in my sails. I was back at it again chasing my dream. I did what I needed to do in the times to survive. Adapted. However I never completely gave up. I think the biggest hurtle is truly believe in oneself. I’ve learned through all this. I’m much more capable of things than I ever thought posible.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

I Believe putting Quality over everything else. Except safety. That you work will speak for itself. Not only your work but your attitude and your interactions with your clients. Also how you give back to the community.

If you do amazing work and take your time and do it right people will notice that. They will want to hire you because your the best in the business. Anyone can be the cheapest option out there. I want to be the best. Not rushing to get the job done because I under bid it and have to rush to the next job In order to make ends meet. We are an exterior cleaning company. I like to call it exterior detailing because I pay attention to every detail.
