We recently connected with Johnnie Calloway and have shared our conversation below.

Johnnie, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Do you think your parents have had a meaningful impact on you and your journey?

My mother and father played a significant role in the man I have become today, the best part about my parents is that they never broke my confidence or made me feel like I was a victim in the world.. To me growing up in a two parent household is real privilege. My mother and father did not have the best relationship between each other but they both made me feel like I could do anything in this world as long as I was willing to put in the work. most children in today’s society are growing up in a single mother household. I cannot imagine what my life would have been like if I did not see my father on a daily basis I learned so many life lessons from him that no dollar amount could ever replace.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I am a motivational speaker, reactor, model, husband, and father. I don’t like to use the word influencer, but I will say that I am an encourager. my family is my life as I am a father of seven children. I have to set the standard which means having extreme self discipline and leading by example. Everyone in life has had to overcome a challenge or fear everyone has lost a love one but the world doesn’t speak on those things it’s all celebrity, gossip, drama, and politics I saw that people but really children are hurting and need to be uplifted over the mud in the media to find light in a dark world. I never thought people all across the world would love to hear me speak but God gave me this gift and I’m grateful to be sharing it with the world. The highest human act is to inspire.

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?

A couple books that really change my life are out with in the devil by Napoleon Hill, Psycho Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz, Up From Slavery by Booker T. Washington, The Autobiography of Malcolm X. The Science of Being Great by Wallace d waddles, and The Way to Wealth by Benjamin Franklin.

Podcast and listening to Dr. Joe Dispenza, Earl Nightingale, Wall Street trapper and Patrick Bet David has given me lots of entrepreneurial and financial knowledge.

Jordan Peterson and Thomas Sowell have also been a huge inspiration in my career as well.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

For me the most rewarding part is doing something that I love and sharing it with the world. Every human has the power to create we all have a gift inside of us something that we would do all day if we could. I have been blessed to turn my into a career that provides my wife and children with a life I couldn’t have ever imagined. Without the faith to follow my dreams and start creating art none of this is possible. I hope to inspire everyone that I come in contact with to make art create something that your grandchildren will be able to look at and smile one day. Family is everything!
