We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Johnathan Harris. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Johnathan below.
Alright, Johnathan thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
I came up with the idea by testing out some funny material I had on file. I felt like I had the gift of making people laugh and once I saw the effect it had on others, it made me want to take it more serious. What excited me most is the fact that I’m able to help people get through their hard times in life. I wanted to be a light for those who needed it and that’s what makes me the happiest. The fact of simply being able to help.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Well it all started simply from an iPad I was using. I had material I just never posted it. Until one day, I made one post and the feedback was crazy. From there it really became a part of me. Honestly the biggest part of me, it’s who I am. I’m most proud of the fact that I haven’t given up despite the obstacles I’ve had to cross. I feel like my brand is original and the world can really relate to.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I’ve just been consistent. I’ve always been consistent and working on new things to give my audience and overtime they’ll grow with you. I’d say consistently bring material and don’t discouraged when things aren’t going your way as fast as you want them. Focus on giving your audience great work and everything else will handle itself.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
I’d say staying consistent. I believe it’s harder than some may think. It’s easy to put off your work from one day to the next. You wake up everyday and you do something towards your craft to get better. You’ve gotta really be locked in and focused on your goals.
