John, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.
I’ve learned how to produce my music from the help of my brothers sdot and calvomusic they taught me most of the fundamentals and how to break down the sound of Baltimore club the obstacles i faced are criticism of my sound but i managed to overcome it and keep elevating my sound and keep pushing to a greater level
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’ve first started as a Baltimore club dancer In 2019 to learn the style and how to do the fundamentals of the style then for a while I’ve learned how to do different things that helped elevate the style I’ve become a producer in 2021 and with the help of my brothers sdot and calvomusic who taught me the ways of producing i was able to make my own way into the scene and I’ve become a member of the organization called bmorethandance(btd) who helps specialize is pushing people talents to the best level they can be
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
I would say being able to see people who love my sound and music dance to it and have fun to it i live to inspire others to be at their best and i love to see others who proud of me and what I’ve accomplished so far in my career
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Yes my goal is to be someone that people look up too and to put on for the Baltimore club culture and represent my city to the fullest alongside putting a name for myself
