We recently connected with John Alexander Garcia and have shared our conversation below.
John Alexander, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
With over 12 years as a professional DJ, entrepreneur, and public figure in Atlanta, John Alexander Garcia is also known as “Bravo Jay” – and has been an avid music enthusiast since high school, which led me to achieve countless accomplishments in my career and life.
While studying Marketing in college, I kept my primary aspiration in focus. I spent my days in academics and nights as a DJ. My hard work and passion led me to become one of Atlanta’s top preferred DJs for many clubs, venues, and events.
Now, I am operating a well-known brand and entertainment company – Bravo Jay Events, and have had the opportunity to work alongside many prestigious celebrities, planners, and events all over Georgia state. Also, my Entertainment company now consists of other talented DJs and entertainers who are trained and share common skills and specialization knowledge towards many great events.
Since I acquired entrepreneurial and marketing skills throughout the years I have grown new ventures that I found a true interest in. I am now also the founder of Jag Innovations LLC in Atlanta GA a Digital Marketing Agency that helps businesses thrive online.

We are a full-service DJ company dedicated to making our client’s lifetime events memorable and remarkable. We offer a variety of packages that will fit any type of event. From birthday parties to weddings, we want to make sure every client will have the best time!
Our DJs are handpicked, well-trained, and very professional, and they will do their best to make the event a huge success by creating an incredible and unforgettable atmosphere.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
The biggest contributor to Bravo Jay Events’ reputation is the 5-star reviews of our clients because their feedback is valuable to our company and it shows that we are professional, reliable, entertaining, and passionate about what we do.
Furthermore, I am so grateful to the entire Bravo Jay Events team who unfailingly invest their utmost effort in every event they oversee. And for being committed to exceeding expectations to ensure our client’s special event is fun, remarkable, and memorable.
Any advice for managing a team?
As a family-oriented man, I encourage and respect my team’s work-life balance. As we all know, overworked employees are not productive and it can often result in burnout.
I also value communication, because it is important to encourage feedback and cultivate a culture where employees feel safe speaking up.
Lastly, it is important to show recognition and appreciation to your team. Simple gestures like a personal ‘thank you’, a little bonus, or public praise help team members feel valued for their contributions.
