We recently connected with Joesph Erdossy and have shared our conversation below.

Joesph, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?

The most meaningful project I am working on is preserving and sharing the history of a local railroad and a industrial park. The project started back in the summer of 2019 when I was curious of what railroad was serving the local industries. Once I found out that it was Canton railroad I tried to find information about them unfortunately there was next to no information about them online. So I made it my mission to share their history so that others don’t have to struggle as much to learn about them. This project is meaningful to me because it is inpart thanks to them that the neighborhood I was born in was able to be built because of them.

Joesph, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

What got me into photography is my interests in The railroad industry, history ,and photography. I am the most proud of progress I have made is sharing the history of the local railroad. Something I would like to share with my followers is that I am trying to expand my hobby into a business.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

Back in October of 2021 I had to get a regular job to support my photography. Me having to get a job meant that I had to balance working at least 40 hours a week and trying do photography at the same time. This was a big challenge at first though I have gotten better with balancing the two.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

One of the most rewarding aspects of my photography is when other people take interest in my photography and what I do.
