Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Joe Moody. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Joe, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today If you had a defining moment that you feel really changed the trajectory of your career, we’d love to hear the story and details.
During the pandemic, I lost faith in a lot of institutions and even modes of living. But one thing stood out like a shining beacon: Qigong (which translates to the cultivations of life-force energy. I didn’t realize that we can actually store negative emotions in our organs, like fear could be trapped in our kidneys, and anger can be trapped in our liver. Through these ancient healing moves, I was able to expel negative emotions from my organs, and feel like a brand new person again. I then built on this new foundation, studying under many masters, culminating when I launched Club Qigong to teach the world this practice that saved my life.

Joe, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I like to make ancient healing moves new again for modern minds, teaching graceful forms for all skill levels to help people raise their vibrational frequency and live their best life. In addition to physical routines, I’ve also created visualizations, affirmations, and guided meditations that help remove limiting beliefs, and reprogram people’s subconscious to live a life of health, happiness, and prosperity.

Putting training and knowledge aside, what else do you think really matters in terms of succeeding in your field?
The most important aspect of succeeding as a wellness coach is relating to an audience, and that means creating content that resonates deeply with them; to not only spark interest, but to move them to make actual changes in their lives. Sometimes you won’t know who your audience is until you begin producing a wide array of content, and then you may notice one segment of people may begin to gravitate toward you. Learning what moves the people who have gathered around is the key to prospering.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
I have been a writer for decades, I’ve created longform video content, classes, and even launched entire websites attempting to create an audience. Some of that worked but only on a modest level. It wasn’t until I started producting short-form videos using my writing content that everything changed and I grew over 2 million followers less than a year. It’s all about opening your video with a solid hook, and then delivering quick and concise paragraphs while still conveying a deep message.
