Casey and I, Joe, embarked on a journey to redefine Atlanta’s social scene, fueled by our desire for a healthier, more fulfilling way of life. This journey led us to the world of kava, where that first sip sparked an idea: create a space where people could connect and unwind without the need for alcohol. To refine our vision, we embarked on a road trip along the East Coast, exploring every kava bar we could find. We discovered a vibrant community of like-minded individuals, embracing creativity, connection, and personal growth. Inspired by this experience, we returned to Atlanta with a renewed passion, ready to overcome any challenges. Tea’z Social is the culmination of our vision: a kava bar where Atlanta can experience a new kind of nightlife, fostering connection, creativity, and personal growth. It’s a place where everyone belongs, and the good times are always brewing.

My business partner, Casey, and I, Joe, were seeking a healthier and more fulfilling way of life, and that journey led us to the world of kava. We were drawn to its calming effects and its ability to promote social connection without the negative consequences of alcohol. We wanted to share this experience with others, so we set out to create a kava bar that was unlike any other.

Beyond our core offerings of kava, kratom, and tea, Tea’z Social generates supplementary income through various avenues. Our “Fun Box” vending machines offer a quirky selection of novelty items and vapes, adding a playful element to the customer experience. Coin-operated attractions like our game table and duck claw machine provide entertainment and an additional revenue source. We also offer free pool and gaming consoles to enhance the social atmosphere and encourage longer stays, leading to increased beverage and food sales. Furthermore, customers can “boost” their drinks with supplements designed to enhance creativity, wellness, or energy, providing a unique upselling opportunity.
