Alright, Joe thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start big picture – what are some of biggest trends you are seeing in your industry?
I have been a commercial real estate entrepreneur for many years, I have watched as the CRE brokerage business struggled to find its path with a younger generation. The CRE brokerage business is one of those that has been set in it’s ways because it works for the older more established agents, we are just now seeing the younger generation finding our industry more attractive due to the willingness of a select few to utilize the many social platforms. The agents that are taking a more creative approach are gaining traction in the CRE industry and many are taking notice.
Joe , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I have been an active member in the real estate industry for many years, wearing different hats, and at times multiple hats! Over the years I have been an Agent, Investor, Syndicator, Founder and Operator of companies as well as an Investor in multiple asset classes. I have been personally responsible for the sale of and/or directly involved in the marketing of over 5,900 assets, resulting in closed transactions totaling over 900 million dollars throughout the United States.
I use this knowledge base to create content to help others that want to become a real estate investor or agent, we post informative videos on my youtube channel to assist the learning process as well as take mentoring calls for those that desire more assistance.

I am a partner in a commercial real estate brokerage in Los Angeles, Commercial Brokers International. We saw the need for more internet marketing 17 years agon and we immediately started working on our SEO, Branding and creating content for the existing social platforms. We continued to update the SEO every 3-4 months as well as join the newest social platforms, it did take some time but we now generate multiple leads every week from our efforts
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
In the beginning we were just creating content to get content out, this was a terrible content strategy, now we focus on bringing value to those in our community. It Works!!!
