We were lucky to catch up with JodiAnn recently and have shared our conversation below.
JodiAnn, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?
I know what it’s like to have self doubt. I know what it’s like to believe everyone else has the answers. I know what it’s like to feel like I’ve fallen short, like I’ve missed something. My life’s journey has lead me to the truth about being this way. The truth is that your personal truth comes from your alignment with your Inner Self, not from others. When you spend time with yourself, get to know your dreams and your truths and trust your gut feelings then you can see (or feel) your true path. And when you follow it without thinking you have to fit in or have someone else’s approval then you are empowered to live the amazing life you were meant to live! Facilitating people to feel empowerment, trust in their own intuition, be kind to every living thing, living life with joy; these are what I hope you think of when you think of me! I know you are an amazing being and I want you to know it, too!
JodiAnn, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m JodiAnn, Your Healing & Enlightenment Facilitator. I went to college, I was part of corporate America then was a licensed massage therapist for 20 years, Reiki Master/Teacher since 1996, professional oracle/medium since 2003. I’ve considered myself the liaison between main stream & alternative healing. I can help people to balance logic with creativity & intuition. My business has evolved over the years to what it is now. I still do divinely guided readings, healing Reiki sessions and teaching Reiki classes but my focus now is self mastery retreats & life mastery programs. I hold The Reveal Retreat in Sedona every April & October where we have lots of activities including vortex hiking, sweat lodge with a local shaman, cacao ceremony, tea ceremony, salt room, Shamanic Reset, meditation and so much more! The life mastery programs I’ve developed are “Stepping Out of It” (a free masterclass to help you step out of your own way) which leads to a more extensive online workshop (playshop) called “Stepping Intuit.” This program covers 12 important life topics (Meditation, Vision Boards with a twist, Quantum Physics & vibrational frequencies, Setting Boundaries, Intuition, and more) that lead to empowerment and a much better life experience. My newest program will be available soon called “Alignment for Abundance” which teaches you how to align with your truth and abundance of everything good flows: good relationships, self understanding, prosperity, etc … stay tuned for the launch of this program very soon!
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Just being myself and being present with my clients is what has helped my reputation. Being candid, having integrity and compassion allow people to know they can trust me and that is SO important! Because I don’t judge the people I work with and I try to make them feel comfortable they tend to want to share their experience with their friends, family & coworkers. My VIP list grows every week because of the amount of people sharing my info with loved ones. When they’re comfortable, the energy flows and the magic happens! I love my clients!
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
The greatest life lesson that applies personally and professionally: The best way is my way…that goes for everyone! Maybe that sounds obnoxious, but hear me out. I used to think that I was to follow (far behind) trailblazers. There are many mentors in my field and my default position was that they were the best and I was not. As my journey expanded, so did my confidence (and so did my gifts) and I finally realized that those mentors were doing it their way (that’s what makes them so good) and I should find my path and do it my way. That involved exploring myself psychologically, emotionally as well as exploring and developing my own personal gifts. I had to unlearn that everyone else is the expert…they may be the expert of their path, but only I can be the expert of mine. And doing this with a sense of camaraderie rather than competition leaves room for everyone. There’s a space in this world for each of us with our own gifts and talents. My advice to everyone is find your authentic passions and talents, have integrity in everything you do, raise your vibrational frequency every chance you get and your path will be obvious and life will be fantastic!
