Joanna, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?

When I was in my teens and early twenties I was surrounded by people who just told me what I wanted to hear. They encouraged my bad decisions and the decisions I had made in that time led me down a very lonely path. That is why today it is my goal to be who I needed. I do not sugar coat hard truths. I help build bolder people and teach them how to prosper in all areas of life.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

I had to learn that not everyone wants to be free from toxic mindsets, habits and beliefs. This can be hard to accept but just because someone signs up to work closely with you doesn’t mean they really want to change.

I have spent hours listening to how horrible someone’s life is, poured all I know into helping them just for them to stay in the mess.

Moral of the story, we can’t save anyone all we can do is love and help and the rest is up to them.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?

You must pour into your team! My team is well trained but I also take the time to hold weekly accountability meetings to ensure everyone is staying on track in their personal lives. Boundaries and the clarity of boundaries is also of great importance and Teaching them the importance of time and that we do not waste it.
