Jimmy , appreciate you joining us today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
I think it takes not giving up. In order to be successful you have to keep going even when it looks like things aren’t working out the way you expected it to.. I’ve started so many businesses that never actually made me any money, but I didn’t give up on becoming a entrepreneur. Now I finally found my true passion and that’s Tv and Film Production. Oh and I can’t forget about acting. I love being able to portray someone other than myself. I find it so amazing that I’m 46 years old and I finally found my thing and it feels great.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m 46 years old born and raised in Monroe, La . I moved to Atlanta in 2021 after the death of my son. When I moved to Atlanta I had no idea what I was going to do. I started doing background work and eventually landed some speaking roles in films and the rest is history. I always like to say that my son is my guardian angel preparing me for a life that i ever could dream of having
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
After loosing my son. I could hear his voice saying it’s time to move dad. He use to always say “dad you’re the funniest man I know you should be on Tv”. So I sold everything. I packed up and moved to Atlanta. Enrolled in film school a couple of months after moving and now I’m about to graduate with a degree in Digital Film
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy that has worked for me is to constantly post content on social media and attend different events so that I can network
