We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jillian Gagnon. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jillian below.
Jillian, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?
When I first started my business, this question was always in the back of my mind—how can I build something I love that also contributes to society and leaves a lasting impact? As cliché as it may sound, “Be the change you wish to see in the world” has been a guiding force since day one.
Before becoming my own boss, I remember how small and undervalued I often felt while working for others. I’d pour early mornings, long days, and my whole heart into someone else’s vision—knowing deep down I had the power to do something greater. That feeling fueled my decision to create not only a business, but a way of being—one where people feel inspired, supported, and seen.
My goal is to one day lead a team of 10–20 people, each of whom is genuinely excited to come to work because they feel aligned with the mission, their individuality is celebrated, and they know they’re a part of something meaningful in the community.
Beyond that, I want to revolutionize the professional organizing industry—to challenge outdated practices, elevate the role of organizers, and merge design, energy work, and emotional wellness into our services. I want to change the way people see their homes, their worth, and their capacity to feel peace in their everyday life.
My legacy will be about more than creating beautiful, functional spaces—it will be about shifting culture, nurturing people, and showing others what’s possible when you design from the inside out.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Jillian Gagnon, and I’m the founder of Haus of Harmony, a professional organizing company rooted in intentional living, and The Organizers Blueprint, a consulting service dedicated to helping other organizers elevate their businesses through design tools like SketchUp. At my core, I’m a creative, an empath, and someone who deeply believes in the power of our environment to transform lives.
I’ve always been a highly driven person with a passion for design and systems. I graduated with a degree in Interior Design from High Point University. For years, I worked under other people (in both commercial and residential design), often feeling like my potential was capped. I craved more impact, more purpose, and more alignment with how I wanted to show up in the world.
So I started my own business from scratch, connecting with families from all walks of life, and pouring my heart into every home I touched. Haus of Harmony was built on the belief that your space should feel like a reflection of your best self—and that organizing is far more than tidying up. It’s about creating personalized systems that support your mental wellness, your lifestyle, and your goals.
Today, we provide full-service organizing, space planning/interior consulting, and move management. We don’t just make things look good—we transform how people live in their homes. Our approach is deeply customized, compassionate, and often surprisingly emotional for our clients. Whether we’re designing a system for a child’s bedroom, helping a parent who feels like they can’t catch a break, or preparing a space for a new season of life, we show up with empathy, strategy, and a vision.
As I’ve been growing my business, I realized there was a gap in the industry: professional organizers had the heart and hustle but lacked tools to clearly communicate their vision. That’s what inspired The Organizers Blueprint. It’s a platform that teaches other organizers how to use SketchUp to present elevated visual concepts to their clients—empowering them to take their professionalism to the next level, feel more confident, and stand out in a growing field. I’m working toward launching a full course and potentially partnering with SketchUp itself to provide resources and discounts to organizers.
What sets me apart is the fusion of design, energy, and emotional intelligence in my work. I’m not here to just label bins. I’m here to revolutionize the organizing industry by raising its standard, mentoring others in the field, and helping people feel peace and pride in their homes.
What I’m most proud of is the brand culture I’m building—one rooted in support, creativity, and meaningful impact. One day, I hope to lead a team of 10–20 people and provide the kind of work environment I always wished I had: where people feel seen, valued, excited to grow, and passionate about the work they are doing.

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
There have definitely been books and resources that have shaped my entrepreneurial philosophy, but honestly, the most impactful “resource” has been the work I’ve done on myself.
Running a business—especially one that’s heart-led like mine—requires more than strategy and systems. It requires self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and the willingness to grow through discomfort. I’ve learned that the way I show up for my team, my clients, and my business is directly tied to how I show up for myself.
I’ve had to unlearn perfectionism, work through imposter syndrome, and develop a deeper trust in my own intuition. That work has helped me lead with empathy, communicate more clearly, and create a work environment where people feel safe and supported—not just productive.
Working with business coaches has also been a game changer. Each one I’ve partnered with has offered me a mirror—to see where I’m playing small, where I’m holding back, and where I have room to expand. They’ve helped me clarify my vision, keep building my infrastructure, and make decisions rooted in strategy instead of stress. Coaching has provided a level of accountability and belief in me that sometimes, as a business owner, can be hard to generate on your own.
But more than anything, the daily work of being in the field—connecting with clients, managing a team, and wearing multiple hats—has been the best classroom. Every challenge has taught me something: about patience, delegation, trust, and how much leadership is really an inside job.
What’s made the biggest difference is learning that my energy sets the tone. When I’m aligned and grounded, everything else flows more smoothly—from team dynamics to client relationships to creative direction. That’s the work I’ll never stop doing, because it’s the foundation for everything I’m building.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
For me, staying connected with clients goes far beyond a thank-you email or a follow-up call—it’s about building real, lasting relationships. I’m incredibly intentional about how I engage with each client, because I know the work we do together often goes deeper than just organizing a space. We’re creating systems that support their life, their mental health, and their sense of peace—and that’s not something I take lightly.
I keep in touch through a mix of personal check-ins, and behind-the-scenes content that allows clients to stay part of our journey. Whether it’s sending a note to celebrate a milestone, following up months later to see how a system is working, or sharing tips that support the next season of life, I always aim to offer value—not just updates.
Through Haus of Harmony, we build brand loyalty by creating experiences that are highly customized and emotionally resonant. Clients don’t just remember how we transformed their space—they remember how we made them feel. They feel seen, supported, and understood. That’s what keeps them coming back and referring us to others.
