Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jill Parres-Gold. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jill, appreciate you joining us today. Do you think your parents have had a meaningful impact on you and your journey?
What my parents did right was teach me the true meaning of unconditional love. I was adopted, and from the very beginning, they made sure I knew I was chosen—not just welcomed, but deeply wanted. They would often tell me the story of how they got to be the lucky ones who chose me to be their child, and that narrative shaped my sense of belonging and self-worth in a powerful way.
Their love never wavered, even through life’s challenges. When I came out at 19, they continued to show up for me with the same unwavering support and acceptance. They taught me that love isn’t just a feeling—it’s an action. It’s about being there, showing up, and standing by the people you care about, no matter what.
I also carry deep gratitude for my birth mother, lovingly known as “Bunny.” Her decision to place me for adoption was the ultimate act of love. She knew she couldn’t provide the life she wanted for me, so she made a selfless choice to give me one through a family who could. That kind of love—sacrificial and pure—has always stayed with me.
I feel incredibly blessed to have been surrounded by love from both sides of my story. It’s shaped who I am and how I show up for others in my personal life and in my work.

Jill, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
About seven years ago, I began a transformative spiritual journey that was first sparked by the practice of hot yoga. What started as a physical discipline quickly unfolded into a profound awakening, guiding me toward deeper layers of self-discovery and connection. From yoga, I expanded into the realms of tantra, sound healing, breathwork, and meditation—each practice opening new doors to inner wisdom and healing.
My exploration continued with hypnotherapy and Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT), deepening my understanding of the subconscious and the soul’s journey. I also embraced the sacred path of plant medicine, participating in an Ayahuasca ceremony and exploring the healing potential of psilocybin mushrooms, Kambo, Sananga, and Hapé. These experiences were deeply humbling and illuminating, offering powerful insights and emotional release.
Approximately two and a half years ago, I encountered the Kundalini Activation Process (KAP)—a moment that marked a pivotal turning point in my spiritual evolution. From my very first session, I was profoundly moved by the energetic shifts and deep healing KAP facilitated. The clarity and transformation I experienced confirmed my calling to become a KAP Facilitator.
I trained initially with Venant Wong at KAP Academy and later continued my studies with Alexandra Michelle of Kundalini Arts. Alexandra’s embodiment of the practice and depth of knowledge have been truly inspiring—unlike anyone I’ve encountered on this path. I am honored to assist her in facilitator training courses here in California and continue to support her work as a Kundalini Arts Facilitator.
KA (Kundalini Activation) has been the most life-changing practice I’ve encountered. It has brought me a profound sense of self-love, inner peace, reverence for the divine, and a deep, unwavering connection to oneness. The community I’ve found through KA has been a source of immense support and inspiration, enriching my journey in ways I never imagined.
I carry a contagious enthusiasm for spirituality and am always seeking new insights and practices to share. As a facilitator, my mission is to inspire others to explore their own spiritual potential and embrace the beauty of their unique path toward wholeness and connection. I am deeply committed to guiding others through transformative experiences that mirror the profound shifts I’ve been blessed to receive.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
I’ve found that the most effective way to build clientele is simply by sharing my personal journey with those who are genuinely interested. When people attend my classes and then speak about their own transformations, it creates a powerful ripple effect. The changes my friends and family saw in me sparked their curiosity and led them to explore the work themselves. Ultimately, word of mouth has been incredibly impactful. The work speaks for itself—people experience profound shifts in their lives, and that resonates deeply with others who are open to listening.

Putting training and knowledge aside, what else do you think really matters in terms of succeeding in your field?
Beyond training and knowledge, success in this field—especially as a Kundalini Activation facilitator—requires deep energetic integrity, emotional presence, and personal embodiment of the work.
To effectively channel and transmit Kundalini prana-shakti, a facilitator must cultivate their own energetic sensitivity and become a clear, grounded vessel for life force energy. This requires intentional self-care on every level—physical, emotional, and spiritual. I support this by trying my best to live a clean, high-vibrational lifestyle, which includes a plant-based/vegan diet and abstaining from substances like alcohol and recreational drugs. This helps keep my energy field clear, my intuition sharp, and my body in alignment with the work I do.
Understanding trauma and how it manifests in the body is also crucial. Facilitators must be trained to create safe, nurturing environments where individuals can regulate their nervous systems and heal at their own pace. This includes being trauma-informed and emotionally attuned to the needs of each participant. I believe the Kundalini Arts Facilitator training course is one of the most comprehensive out there, Alexandra Michelle is quite simply the best.
Facilitators undergo their own deep transformation through shadow work, inner child healing, and emotional integration. This personal evolution is foundational—it allows us to guide others with authenticity, compassion, and humility.
Holding space is not about control—it’s about presence. It’s about allowing the energy to move through you while supporting others with love and non-judgment. Facilitators must learn to trust their intuition while staying grounded. This balance allows for sessions that are both spiritually expansive and emotionally safe. It’s not just about technique—it’s about presence, integrity, and the ability to meet others exactly where they are.
Ultimately, success in this field comes from how deeply you live the work—not just how well you know it.
