We were lucky to catch up with Jill Cherry recently and have shared our conversation below.

Jill , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What do you think it takes to be successful?

I think relationship capital is one of the number one ways to become successful. In order to obtain relationship capital you have to treat people the right way. It’s easy to forget someone’s name or even what they say, but you never forget how someone made you feel.

Jill , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Hi, my name is Jill Cherry and I was first a supporter of my husband’s chiropractic practice, Cherry Family Chiropractic in South Tampa, for 9+ years. Then COVID. COVID, as we all know, shut the world down. Our bread and butter was marketing to companies, schools, and other professionals etc… After a while, my husband said that we needed to figure out a different way to market if we wanted to stay open. We learned of this program called Twisty CA by Tristan Schaub. This program was designed to help someone like me learn all things for online marketing. During my time in this program I really excelled in the web design piece. Schaub mentioned to me that I should consider doing this for other doctors and ultimately create a business from it. Cherry Picked Web Co. was born.

Cherry Picked Web Co. is a micro-agency and we specialize in: full website design, landing pages, funnels, online stores and membership/course sites. With any of the products mentioned, a client using the backend of their website will have access to email automations and CRM capabilities as well.

Cherry Picked Web Co. is different because I myself was on the buyer side at one point and intimately understand the frustrations that are normally felt by working with “someone like me”. You’ll receive the treatment and experience I wish I had when I was in the buyer seat.

We strive to live by 2 words: transparency and communication.

Transparency: your company is yours, so why shouldn’t you feel like you have complete control over your brand voice online, too? We exist to make it feel as though you have the control with how you’re seen online and we are the experts on how to make it happen.

Communication: I have a strict 24 hour rule. We answer emails and give a response within 24 hours of the email being sent.

I’m most proud of the relationships I’ve built along the way. Most professional relationships turned into friendships. I genuinely love the people I get to work with on a daily basis. So much so, that to me, this doesn’t feel like work. I’m very blessed.

What do I want followers, individuals, people in general to know about Cherry Picked? I want you to know that we want you to feel as though it’s a vacation working with us. What do we mean by that? We want you to feel relaxed, at ease and that you made the right decision. That you can finally take a break from making hard decisions and know that you hired us as a part of your team and that makes you feel supported and loved. We honestly have your back and desire to watch you grow just as much as you want to grow.

Is there a mission driving your creative journey?

To take the mystery out of web design, online marketing and SEO. I want others to feel empowered when they are making the decision on who they’d like to work with for their company’s online profile and presence.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

Honestly not taking advantage of people and being 100% honest in every aspect of what I do.

I’ve had several clients come to me in times of crisis. I built their website for free at the time because of their circumstances and where they were at. Those individuals have not only been my biggest referral sources, but have come back and paid me in full.

It honestly pays just to be kind.

I think my brand has exploded on that principle alone. Be kind. See people and love them.
