Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jill Bissonnette. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jill, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Setting up an independent practice is a daunting endeavor. Can you talk to us about what it was like for you – what were some of the main steps, challenges, etc.
When my twin sister and I decided to start Snow Moon Twins, it wasn’t just about creating a business; it was about building a space for community, creativity, and magic. The early days were full of brainstorming, designing our aesthetic, and figuring out how to turn our rituals, artwork, and spiritual practice into something shareable and sustainable.
The steps were simple but powerful: we claimed our name, built our first website, set up our social channels, and began showing up consistently with content and offerings. The hardest part was trusting that our voice mattered in such a crowded space. We had to really prove ourselves in the spiritual space.
Our advice, if you’re starting your own practice, lean into what makes your voice unique. Don’t wait until everything is “perfect”, share your work now. Consistency and authenticity will build your foundation more than a flawless plan. And protect your creative energy. It’s your most valuable resource.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Snow Moon Twins is a mystical lifestyle brand and spiritual collective offering ritual tools, spellwork, intuitive readings, and metaphysical education rooted in empowerment, intention, transformation, and healing. Blending witchcraft, ancestral wisdom, and modern spirituality, we help seekers reclaim their power and live intentionally.
The twins combine fierce self-love with shadow work, lunar magic, and a touch of chaos. We don’t gatekeep, we guide. We don’t preach, we empower. Think moonlit rituals with sass, smoke, and sacred transformation.
Our Vibe is Bold. Witchy. Real.
Our Mission is to guide individuals through healing, manifestation, and self-discovery by providing accessible, authentic spiritual tools and practices. We create sacred space, online and in-person, for magic, community, and deep energetic shifts.

If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
Yes, I’d still choose to create and share Snow Moon Twins. It’s the path that lets us blend creativity, spirituality, and entrepreneurship in a way that feels authentic. If I could go back, I’d start sooner and trust the process more. I’d worry less about “getting it perfect” and focus more on showing up consistently with our voice and offerings.
The beauty of this path is that it’s not linear. Every challenge, pivot, and experiment has shaped the brand and community we’re building. So I wouldn’t change the specialty, I’d walk into it with more confidence and trust that the right people and opportunities always show up when you’re aligned.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
At Snow Moon Twins, what truly built our reputation was authenticity and consistency. From the very beginning, Meg and I showed up exactly as ourselves, sharing rituals, magic, and creativity in a way that felt real, approachable, and aligned. People can feel when your energy is genuine, and that trust became our foundation.
We also invested in visual identity and storytelling early on. Our pink–purple galaxy aesthetic, crystal imagery, and branding made us recognizable, and pairing that with thoughtful rituals and spiritual guidance created a space people wanted to return to.
Another key factor was community connection. We didn’t just post content, we engaged. We listened, responded, collaborated, and invited our audience into the process. That two-way relationship helped us stand out in a crowded space.
Lastly, consistency played a huge role. Even on the days when growth felt slow, we kept showing up. Over time, that consistency built reliability, and reliability built a reputation.
