We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jiabin Li a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Jiabin thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you share an important lesson you learned in a prior job that’s helped you in your career afterwards?

In the design and production of the idea is certainly important, but there is no perfect idea, sometimes in the absence of ideas when you can try to produce the first to design the physical basis for the development of the secondary design, to be more efficient than the empty thought of the perfect design in the process, to be much faster!

Jiabin, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I studied visual communication design in college, I chose this major because I want to have a deeper understanding of design and beauty, this major and the content involved in a wide range of graphic, 3D, video, typography, creativity, are involved, because of a wide range of content learning, so that I have for the art of more understanding and perception, I have a difference from others is that for the design of the same view, I think design is the cultural heritage and innovation is a response to the values and cultural characteristics of contemporary society, I am most proud of my study of visual communication design has maintained good results and attitudes. I have the same view, I think the design is the cultural heritage and innovation is for the contemporary society’s values and cultural characteristics of the response, I am most proud of my study of visual communication design has been to maintain a good performance and attitude, for the design of a deeper level of learning and thinking, my work today is to provide as much as possible to make the customer more satisfied with the product and design, but I would like to see the customer in the proposed idea of the product and design, but I would like to see the customer in the idea of the product and design, but I would like to see the customer in the design of the product and design. What I hope is that when the customer puts forward the idea not to do more ideas to limit, may let me provide a better design work!

Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?

In the design creation, I would like to know earlier design material library can easily find high-quality pictures, design inspiration website can see the work of many excellent designers, so as to stimulate creative inspiration, but also as far as possible to understand the relevant industry cases so as not to lead to copyright infringement, as well as for the user’s needs and experience of the direction of the better design choices!

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

I think as a designer, the most valuable thing is its unique creativity and imagination, which is the core competitiveness of designers, allowing people to be able to conceptualize new and unique, fascinating works of art and creative concepts, keen perception and vision is also the inspiration for the design, of course, also need to have a deep cultural heritage to do to support the persistence and perseverance and focus is also a powerful designer’s core. The core of a designer is the ability to self-criticize, adapt to changes and learn to improve themselves so that they can express their inner world through their works.
