Jiaani, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
When I was 7 I knew once we got cable that hip hop was very important to me. Self expression without any limits I feel is the human experience , & I saw that in hip hop!
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I was born into a Persian/American Family.. My grandmother came to America in the 70’s & brought my father, my aunt, & uncle with her as a single parent. Watching them build a strong core , principle foundation was a beautiful thing to witness.
over time I began to fall into the streets in my early teenage years which landed me in group homes & jail , little did I know these lessons would later become a strong base for me to learn from.
mediation taught me gratitude which is something I focus on putting in my music, the struggle, the growth, the lesson as well as new direction.. I aim to provide a leadership quality in all products associated with myself.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My family.. I am married with 5 children, 2 children that came into the marriage with my wife, this taught me patience, which allowed me to have patience within my craft. I know I have to be a solid man daily because they are all watching me step into my position.
Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?
the resource of doing more myself! I gave so much money & opportunities to others that I realized I can do just do more myself.. this changed the whole game for me in all facets.
