We were lucky to catch up with Jewel Monet Lux recently and have shared our conversation below.
Jewel Monet, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
As an intuitive reader, I often find myself navigating the delicate balance between my humanity and my awareness of the greater spiritual realm. Specifically, I’ve had to balance humility with confidence in my gifts. There have been many instances where I’ve received messages from Spirit—messages deeply personal and specific—that I was urged to share with strangers. In those moments, I’ve felt the risk of being perceived as presumptuous or invasive. After all, it’s no small thing to tell someone something so personal about themselves.
However, when Spirit directs you to deliver a message, trust that it is for that person’s highest good. I remember a particular experience about a year after I was initiated into Reiki. I was offering Reiki to a woman I had just met at a community event in South Atlanta. She was vibrant, bubbly, and full of positive energy. We had a lovely interaction, and I began her session with an open heart.
As I worked on her, I felt very specific emotional pain in her sacral chakra. While focusing on clearing that energy, I started perceiving details about her romantic relationships. Out of respect for her privacy, I won’t share specifics, but I decided to gently explain what I was sensing. To my surprise, she burst into tears. While it’s never my intention to make anyone cry, her tears became a powerful release of the stuck energy in her sacral chakra.
She opened up and expressed emotions she had been holding onto for so long. Her mind had been trying to put on a brave face, but her body needed to let go of the pain. By sharing what I perceived, I gave her the space and permission to release that energy, and it was transformative for her.
I’ve had similar experiences in other settings, like when I used to give prophetic words in church. Spirit would give me images or impressions of experiences someone had gone through and instruct me to share it with them. These moments are not always visual; I perceive through feelings, tastes, smells, and other sensations.
I recall seeing an image of a significant interaction between a father and son. I didn’t know the son personally but had seen him in passing. When I shared the vision with him, he also broke down in tears, releasing emotions he had been holding back. In both instances, simply being brave enough to share what I perceived allowed these individuals to find healing.
I’m sharing these stories in the hope of inspiring others who have intuitive gifts but might feel scared or unsure about using them. Maybe you’re afraid to share a message or to openly talk about your abilities. Let me tell you: it’s not about showing off your skills. It’s about the person the message is meant for.
People need healing, and if Spirit chooses you as a vessel to facilitate that healing, it’s a profound honor. Remove yourself and your ego from the equation—don’t use your gift to seek attention, but don’t hide it out of fear either. Allow the gift to flow and hold space for it when it comes through.
Yes, it can feel risky. You might worry about being judged or thought of as “crazy.” That fear has crossed my mind many times. But in every instance, the response I’ve received has been one of gratitude. People recognize the truth and love in these moments. Even if it’s someone I’ll only meet once, in that moment, we share something deeply meaningful.
So, to anyone with an intuitive gift who’s afraid to step out on faith, I encourage you to take the risk. It’s not about you—it’s about the healing and connection Spirit wants to bring into the world.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am Jewel Monet, a Certified Crystal Reiki Master, Sound Healing Practitioner, intuitive reader, and root worker. My work is centered around providing holistic spiritual services and products that guide people toward balance, clarity, and connection to their higher selves. I offer a wide range of services, including energy healing, sound therapy, intuitive chakra readings, tarot readings, astrology consultations, and spiritual coaching. Additionally, I create intention-based products such as manifestation candles, spiritual baths, jewelry, ritual kits, and custom spiritual headwear.
My journey into this field was deeply personal. I’ve always been spiritually inclined and attuned to the unseen world. Growing up in Georgia, I often found myself questioning traditional religious teachings, feeling a disconnect from their source. This curiosity led me to explore spirituality from a broader, global perspective. My studies brought me to the teachings of Yeshua (Christ), who I discovered was a student of various mystery schools, including Reiki. This revelation resonated deeply with me and ignited my path of spiritual exploration and practice.
As I delved into these disciplines, I uncovered and embraced my spiritual gifts. What some might call “ laying on of hands,” I understood as the ability to channel healing energy through my hands and breath. And what some may call “prophecy”, I call channeling. Removing restrictive beliefs allowed these abilities to flourish, and I now use them to help others align with their highest potential.
One significant realization from my journey is the importance of protecting the energy of our heads. Our hair acts as an antenna, and the crown chakra is the gateway to our higher selves and spiritual awareness. This understanding inspired me to create custom spiritual headwear—pieces designed to shield and align the crown chakra while projecting energy tailored to the wearer.
Through my work, I help clients find clarity, release energetic blockages, and reconnect with their inner power. I act as a mirror, reflecting the truths they need to see, and as a translator of spiritual frequencies, delivering messages that guide them toward healing and transformation.
What sets me apart is my ability to bridge the gap between the physical and spiritual worlds. I believe in balance—feeling good inside and out, being grounded in the physical while remaining connected to the divine. My passion lies in showing people the magic of the world we live in, helping them reconnect to source energy, and rediscovering their inner light.
I am most proud of my ability to connect people to the non-physical world, helping them access realms of clarity and empowerment they may not have thought possible. My offerings reflect my commitment to holistic wellness and spiritual alignment: sound healing sessions, Reiki, intuitive readings, tarot consultations, spiritual coaching, and custom intention-based products.
At the heart of it all, my goal is to help others awaken to their true selves, embrace their spiritual journey, and live in harmony with their highest potential.
Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
Succeeding in the field of spiritual and holistic wellness requires more than just training and knowledge. Here are some key qualities and practices I believe I’ve been most beneficial to me.
1. Authenticity
People are drawn to practitioners who are genuine and true to their path. Living in alignment with your teachings and beliefs builds trust and establishes your credibility. Clients can sense when your work comes from a place of authenticity.
2. Empathy and Intuition
Understanding and connecting with people on a deep emotional and energetic level is crucial. Being empathetic allows you to truly hear and feel what your clients are experiencing, while intuition guides you in offering the right support, tools, and messages for their unique situation.
3. Consistent Personal Growth
Spiritual work is a lifelong journey. Being mindful and conscious of your own growth healing and evolution allows the grace to hold space for others from a place of integrity. This means staying open to new perspectives, techniques, and experiences.
4. Personal Energy Management
Protecting and maintaining your own energy is essential in this field. Regular practices like meditation, grounding, and cleansing help prevent burnout and ensure you’re being a clear conduit for your clients.
If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
If I could go back, the only thing I would change is that I would have taken my spiritual and creative callings more seriously much earlier in life. I’ve always been deeply drawn to these more feminine and intuitive aspects of myself, but for years, I felt immense pressure to wear the “mask” the world expected of me—to focus solely on work, financial success, and traditional pursuits.
For decades, I ran from both my spiritual and fashion callings, trying to fit into molds that didn’t feel authentic to my true self. Now, I’m learning how to embrace these passions in a way that honors my entire being. Healing and holistic wellness have been long-standing passions of mine, as have fashion, styling, and design. To combine the two by creating fashionable hats with deep spiritual significance feels like the perfect expression of purposeful creativity for me.
This journey has taught me that it’s never too late to align with your true purpose, and by doing so, I’ve found fulfillment and joy that I didn’t know was possible. My path may have taken longer than expected, but it feels divinely timed and perfectly aligned with who I am.
