We recently connected with Jestacia Lanette (Dr. J) and have shared our conversation below.
Jestacia, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear the backstory of how you established your own practice.
These days… green therapy- green living is my focus. Some call it Blue Zones.
Creating beautiful programs for mindfulness & mindbody health.
With over three decades in the entertainment | spa wellness | MindBodyHealth industry – I’ve settled in a wonderful green space outside of Atlanta Georgia.
As I live and promote- a lifestyle of aging well- living well and being well from the inside out.

Tea Talk Community & Green Therapy are my may focus areas-
This is where I update the community and patients on daily lifestyle tips and education.
My advice- your work pays off
Identify your passion early in life- and your prosperity will follow you later in life.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
Mindset.
This was actually my biggest struggle early on- I had NO model for the direction I was called into. Simply trusting God’s guidance and prayer.
Don’t be afraid to be different- that is actually your key card to success- naturally.
***
It’s ok to unlearn behaviors- or patterns that no longer serve you.
It’s ok- to shift environments that stifles your growth.
And lastly,
It’s ok to leave relationships behind that leave you stuck. Where there’s no growth.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Being a woman of a certain age. Lol
A mature woman. I’ve seen a lot- I’ve experienced a lot.
My family and culture have been through ALOT. This can be exhausting- spiritually- emotionally and physically. Knowing when to take breaks- retreat and exhale has been my medicine.
My divorce was devastating- but I lived and recovered and found love again.
Raising my Son- to become his best, without bitterness is priceless. He has found his own success.
Resilience is
More than a word- it has been a bridge.
