We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jessie Arora. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jessie below.
Alright, Jessie thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
I think in a world where people often choose conformity and societal expectations, I chose to break that mold that I had been expected to live in. I didn’t want to do things just because of obligations and expectations. I wanted to truly live and experience my life to the fullest. From the very begining I chose to dance to the beat of my own drum. I have always taken risks in my careers, in my relationships, in my entreprenurial endevours, and even in my self-expression. There are many times where I question myself “Am I being irrational? Am I thinking it out thoroughly? Is this going to limit my oppertunitues? But the answer always ends up being “be true to yourself”. Even if I’m wrong at the time, the self-awareness and courage it took for me to take that risk pays off as it leads me to the next rung of my journey. Taking the risks to say the unspoken, to believe in myself, and to go against the grain has helped me create a very unique career path that helps people find thier own inner-awareness, courage, and authenticity as well.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Unbeknownst to me, I was born with a deep inner knowing and abilities to tap into the feild. At the time as a young child, I didn’t have the vocabulary for it. I just had unexplainable feelings that lead to irrational fears. Fears of being alone, fears of the dark, fears of certain people and fears of certain places. It was a lot for a little child and with nobody to understand me I acted in unexplainable ways that got me in a lot of trouble. Fast forward 16 years and my mother began to recognise that I had abilities to read people hands and foreheads, not as a form of divination, but a sort-of sixths sense. She enrolled me into the healing studies and by the age of 21 I was certified as a Reiki level III practitioner.
After over 23 years of exploring the spiritual and metaphysical world I have created a beautiful blend of energy and therapy modalities that truly encompass mind, body and soul. From Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming to Spinal Energetics, Reiki, and Shamanic Healings. What I offer is a Psychosomatic approach to wellness, embodiment, and empowerment.

Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
One of the most important things that has been so vital to being successfull in my feild is unlearning who I thought I was to redevelop my self-awareness and then reintroduce myself to the world. It’s a verry challenging thing to do, to give yourself permission to not be who you said you were, realise you were mistaken, go inside yourself to do the inner excavation and rebuild your world around what you truly want.
It’s like peeling away layers of an onion, shedding the preconceived notions and expectations that society, peers, or even our own past selves have imposed upon us. This process of unlearning and relearning demands courage, vulnerability, and a willingness to embrace change. Yet, it’s in this discomfort and uncertainty that true growth and transformation occur.
As I embarked on this journey of self-discovery, I found myself confronting fears, insecurities, and doubts that had long been buried beneath the surface. But with each revelation came a newfound sense of liberation and authenticity. I began to recognize my own desires, passions, and values, distinct from the external influences that once defined me.
Through introspection and reflection, I gained clarity on what truly matters to me and what path I wanted to pursue in life. It’s a continuous process, this journey of self-discovery, but one that ultimately leads to a deeper connection with oneself and a greater sense of fulfillment.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The single most effective “strategy” for growing my clientelle has been to be 100% fully and uathentically present with them. To not worry about what they think of me and if I am doing a good job, but instead to truly help them feel heard and seen and to tell them exactly how I see their patterns, challenges, and perceptions blocking them from their best lives.
In essence, it’s about creating a space of genuine connection and trust, where clients feel safe to explore their vulnerabilities and aspirations. By being fully present and authentic, I’m able to establish a rapport built on empathy and understanding, which is fundamental to fostering meaningful change.
Rather than focusing solely on external validation or measuring success by conventional standards, I prioritize the client’s inner journey and growth. This approach not only cultivates a deeper sense of resonance and rapport between us but also empowers clients to confront their obstacles with courage and resilience. Through honest and insightful conversations, I guide them in uncovering the underlying patterns and beliefs that may be holding them back, offering perspective and support every step of the way. It’s not just about imparting knowledge or skills but about facilitating a transformative experience that empowers clients to unlock their full potential and live more authentically aligned lives.
