Jessica, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. One of the most important things we can do as business owners is ensure that our customers feel appreciated. What’s something you’ve done or seen a business owner do to help a customer feel valued?
Your customer is the most important. Period. People like to say we go into business for ourselves, but we don’t. We go into business for them. To solve a societal need or a need society thinks it has.
The thing about our clients is they are bosses, family, they turn into friends. They are who we serve, and proudly. The best thing I’ve seen does was from an entrepreneur named Maya. She gave gifts. So now I customize gifts for each person! I used this service called shop box fox. They are luxury, wrapped beautifully and personalized including a hand written note.
In my business full branding packages are $7,500. It’s nice to know someone cares about you enough to actually get to know you and then show you appreciation for just being you. My last customized box included jewelry, tea and bath lotion (all things I found out my client loved through intake convo)

Referrals is my main source! I am forever grateful.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
The advice was: Do it all, be a one stop shop.
And although that sounds amazing I’ve had to unlearn it. I work in my zone of genius and give 10000% there in that. This is where I make the biggest impact. So although I love marketing and am good at it I don’t offer it, sure I can do social media BUT THATS NOT MY ZONE! I stick with branding, over serve and see the payoff
