Jessica , appreciate you joining us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?

The idea for my business came during the time of the pandemic. Being that my daughter was the only child I had to come up with a clever ways to keep her entertained during the isolation that it would be fine to buy a projector. I have a movie night in the house , using the projector, It turned out to be a big hit with my daughter. She suggested we do an outside movie night. At that time I was live in an apartment and once we did it outside in our apartment complex parking lot the neighbors saw us and asked if we can join us. They pulled out chairs grab snacks ( socially distance, of course) , and again that was a big hit! My neighbor started to ask if I could host private events for their family, since I could conveniently set up the equipment while maintaining social distance, that’s how my business started! I took to Facebook to advertise Instagram too, but the quickest way, my business spread was word of mouth! Once
The isolation of Covid was lifted a little. I started to venture out into luxury picnics. This was something dear to my heart, as I love being outdoors but I also love to be as comfortable as possible when I’m outside picnics are favorite pastime of mine , and I love offering luxury picnics!
The idea of adding a Hot tub rentals to my business, was a easy one again another favorite pass out of my relaxing outside in my hot tub while watching a movie on the big screen using the projectors who wouldn’t want to have the service right in their backyard?!

What I love about my business is offering these unique services to people. I’m often booked for date nights, birthday parties, anniversaries, or just to say thank you or I love you. I’ love Creating special moments that people will never forget. I am most proud of my creativity when it comes to making these moments extra special for my clients , the smallest detail can be the most intriguing ones. Those are what my business focuses on. We got the extra land to make sure your moment is a special an unforgettable as can be, whether your renting a Hot tub having a backyard movie night or a luxury picnic in the park

Can you talk to us about how your side-hustle turned into something more.

I started doing this business in my players time just something to hold me over during the pandemic. Once the pandemic was open and I took back to teaching the first year teaching was probably priority and my business was something I just did on the side. I couldn’t focus too much on my business because I had to put all my focus into teaching, I was able to maintain doing both for the first year. The second year my business grew and I had to make a choice. I took a rest and chose my business, although it was hard, and I was very scared. I was able to support myself better with just my business than I was when I was teaching, although it was hard, guessing how much income you would bring in versus working with a corporate business and knowing exactly what you would be bringing home each month somehow I made it work and I don’t regret it

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

I started marketing my business only on Facebook with low prices even with low prices I gave exceptional services in my business, started to quickly Grow by word of mouth , I have a contest on Facebook and Instagram for free services to help my following rules. I posted repetitively although I thought maybe people would find it annoying I found that it keeps people interested in what you’re offering.
