We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jessica Tyson. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jessica below.
Jessica, appreciate you joining us today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
I think the most important thing is passion! Without it, it can be kind of hard to find a true meaning of success. And that’s not to say that you have to be over the top passionate about your work every single day, because that’s not super realistic. We all have moments where we’re just doing what needs to be done to get through the day, or to pay the next bill, but at the end of the day; passion is what I believe fuels us to success.
Jessica, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am a Graphic Designer, specializing in brand design! I graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2020, right when covid lock downs started taking place. When I realized that the job market was rather limited, and that a lot of people and businesses were shifting to a more online based business model, I took the leap and started my own business!
Most of the clients I work with currently are small businesses or individuals who want to establish themselves in their industry and have a strong visual identity behind them. That’s where I come in! I create bold custom branding, which can include everything from a logo, social media graphics, to websites, so that my clients can have all they need to set themselves apart.
One thing about my work that I take pride in is my use of color and my ability to think outside of the box. When it comes to showcasing your brand, the main thing I focus on is what makes you and your business different! And with that comes a bold approach to branding. I want your unique business to have a unique visual story behind it.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
When I have a client who is overjoyed with their end product, it makes me so happy! There is nothing like seeing what you’ve put your creative heart into, come to life, and then bring so much joy to someone else.
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Most of my clients have come to me by word of mouth from past clients. It’s really rewarding when someone was happy enough with the product or service you provided that they felt strongly enough to recommended you to someone else!
