Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jessica Sinclair . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Jessica thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Parents can play a significant role in affecting how our lives and careers turn out – and so we think it’s important to look back and have conversations about what our parents did that affected us positive (or negatively) so that we can learn from the billions of experiences in each generation. What’s something you feel your parents did right that impacted you positively.
My parents are exemplary human beings; they migrated here from Kingston,Jamaica to achieve the “American Dream”. They have positively impacted my life and career in so many ways. I am a registered nurse because of my Dad (he wouldn’t stop dropping hints lol) and I am an entrepreneur because of my mom. I would help her sell merchandise at events. My parents are resilient, loving, and hardworking. They have laid the foundation for us all. Their stories of survival back home have motivated me to continue to strive for greatness. They are my reason to keep going and to never take anything for granted. Servant leadership is another word I would use to describe being a Sinclair. We truly care about others and will always find a way to support. I am the proud sister of 3 brothers and 1 sister. We call ourselves “team sinclair” because our bond is unbreakable thanks to my parents. “Each one helps one” is our motto. I am beyond thankful for my family.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I built my social media audience organically and that takes time so patience is key. Social media can be very overwhelming at times but I try to stay consistent and take breaks whenever needed. I am constantly trying to find out what my audience likes. I aim to post high quality videos and pictures. My behind the scene videos are always fun to watch and record because anything goes “unedited”. I also try to share my client reviews and feedback as much as possible. I use apps that can help edit video or auto post to save time. I follow people who can motivate and inspire me. I have been doing my own marketing for the past 7 years now. I am so grateful for my advertising and public relations background.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
This is a great question. I am consistent and passionate about all my endeavors. Clients can feel my energy and positive vibe from the moment we converse. I am often called a” friend and or family” by my client because I am down to earth and I get the job done without a hitch. I treat everyone with respect and I go above and beyond to exceed expectations. I give 200%. Oh and it’s all about effective communication.
