Hi Jessica , thanks for joining us today. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?
As an influencer/content creator, I want my audience to feel like friends. This is why I am “LifewithJess”. I want to take my audience with me through my life. I have so much love for people, so I want lifeWithJess to feel comfortable and not like a script. This is why my feed is full of different things (fashion, travel, dogs, friends, lifestyle, college, favorite brands etc).
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I am Life with Jess, a Fashion + Lifestyle Content Creator/Influencer. I love to make others feel confident by spreading positivity and confidence through my photos and videos. I have worked with brands on social media to create original content for gifted and paid collaborations, partnerships, and campaigns. I am a business-oriented individual with experience in social media, fashion, styling, marketing, and management. Something that I am proud of is working with brands such as Express, Giorgio Armani, Merit Beauty, ThredUp, Albertsons, Valentino, etc. I know my little 7-year-old self is screaming right now. I never thought companies would start reaching out to me because they love who I am and the content I create. It’s been such a blessing. What sets me apart from others is that I am a determined individual who has many goals, and I won’t stop here. I don’t ever get satisfied where I am at in life, I want to keep growing, and I know I will. I want to work with bigger brands/companies such as Kate Spade, Ralph Lauren, Vogue, Chanel, Tory Burch ,Gianni Bini etc, and I want my fashion creativity to expand. There is still a lot of room for me to grow and learn. I want to become a full-time influencer, a stylist, and a designer, and I want to travel the world to learn more about fashion. I want to do it all
I feel that everyone in this world is unique. What so special about me is that I am simply me. Nobody else is like me and I am like nobody else. This is what makes life so beautiful because there’s so much diversity and individuality.
I am most proud of to work with Express. They’re one of my favorite brands and I always feel so happy working with them. They truly care and value my feelings. I also love how they offer many opportunities to their Style Editors/Creators.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My goal is to travel around the world and get invited to big influencer events with amazing brands. I love to meet new people so networking in that way would be amazing!!! I specifically would love to travel to Paris & New York. I also want to meet many fashion icons such as; Tan France, Amber Scholl, Tory Burch, Giorgio Armani & many more!
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The fact that I get to be myself on social media and create a loving environment with my audience! I learn a lot about people and other great creatives! I also believe the most rewarding thing is when people support and love me because they love who I am as an individual.
