Jessica , appreciate you joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

“Together we are beautiful” and “Unity through Music” it’s not just our slogan it’s our mission statement. We as humans thrive when we’re united and feel we have a purpose when involved within a community. I want to create a safe place for people to express themselves and be part of something bigger than themselves, giving people something to believe in and to look forward to in this lifetime. Our goal is to impact people’s lives through music and Ethereal Sounds.

Jessica , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

My name is Jessica Sarahi Rojo Godinez and I’m Mexican American born in Arizona and raised in Florida. I’m currently an Artist Manager and Founder of Ethereal Sounds (an event entertainment management company). Music has always been my passion so much so that I found myself in the music industry.

I started of as a local promoter for Tampa and Orlando and in July of 2023, I hosted my first Techno house party. I fell in love with planning it that I decided to start my own company that same year. We are based out of Orlando but are hosting all over Florida now! We focus on hosting under the Electronic Dance Music (EDM) subgenre “Techno”. We remain being one of the few companies hosting these major events and we remain authentic to our craft that people crave more of our events! Each one is unique in it’s own way and we dive into all the subgenres of Techno so everyone can get a taste of them all!

We are proud of the techno movement we’ve built and the lives we’ve impacted throughout the years. Everything we do is for the people, we want everyone to enjoy themselves and to be free to dance therapeutically. We aim to positively change lives through music.

There’s a second reason besides passion for Techno that I host these events for and it’s to grow the three artists I manage in Florida – (Jake Anthony (PR), Yari (VE), and DSKRDIA). At first, it was challenging to get into the big clubs because most talent buyers looked for experience and relevance. The solution – to create major events to book and grow my artists – and it worked! With a collaborative effort, we have built great relationships with the major players in the music industry! We worked hard and were able to play at major clubs like (The Ritz, Celine, Myth Nightclub, Elixir, and TK Lounge), and festivals like (HomeBase, Shipwrecked, Odyssey, and Breakaway) to name a few!

Me and my artists make a great team and support each other’s dreams of making a career out of our passion. Our success is not based on luck but hard work, determination, and discipline. It hasn’t been easy but something we always say to each other is that “If it was easy then everyone will do it”. Music is an artform and my artists art is meant to be experienced by the world!

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?

The way to continue growing our clientele is to keep hosting quality shows consistently. Word travels fast when people have a good time at our shows and bring more of their friends for the next show! Each show we have new faces and it’s a good feeling to know our shows are being discovered. When we book artists from different cities that also helps our reach. We do a great job with online promotion/marketing and our events show that!

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

The most important role for an event host is making the lineup. The lineup has to make sense and the sets have to flow throughout the night. We have a good reputation of booking quality artists that people enjoy dancing to and this trust with our clientele is extremely valuable to us. We want everyone to have a great time!
