We recently connected with Jessica McIntee and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Jessica, thanks for joining us today. What was it like going from idea to execution? Can you share some of the backstory and some of the major steps or milestones?
There are several ways to starting a business. Inspiring entrepreneurs need more than money in order to be successful.
With each of my businesses, before operations, I submerged myself in ideation. I also completed rounds of trial and error projects. After reviewing each result, I was able to execute many of my goals.
For instance, I created different proposals and designs for my business marketing. I would evaluate each of the successes and losses. I took the losses, learned each lesson, and created a better platform. I also recorded each process in order to maintain documentation on what was most effective.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I dived into each of these businesses simply by looking within. I acknowledged how my gifts & talents could help the collective as a whole. If anyone would like to work for themselves, it is best to look at creating solutions for problems and helping others.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The most effective strategy for growing my clientele is honoring and respecting my clients. I invest heavily into Customer Service.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to unlearn the art of hustling. I replaced “hustling” with prayer, meditation and manifesting. These 3 tactics are now my main priority especially when managing my businesses.
