From a young age, I was drawn to all things beauty. I had a natural talent for drawing, hair, nails, and brows, which I honed by cutting and braiding my little brother’s hair and shaping my own eyebrows with a razor blade as a teenager. People often asked me where I got my brows done, leading to requests for me to do theirs. Unbeknownst to me, I was an entrepreneur without the funds to back it, driven purely by my love for beauty.

After high school, I enrolled in a less-than-ideal beauty school, but my determination never wavered. Fast forward to 2021, during a meeting with my business consultant, she suggested we create my LLC. I felt a mix of excitement and nerves, questioning if I was ready to run a successful business. Despite my fears, I decided to move forward.

When asked about the name for my business, I chose “The Bedroom Spa.” To me, the bedroom symbolizes relaxation, comfort, and intimacy. I wanted my spa to evoke those same feelings, creating a safe and comforting space for clients to share their concerns and leave feeling rejuvenated. My goal is to not only provide excellent services but also to empower clients with knowledge about their skin, boosting their confidence.

Thus, “The Bedroom Spa LLC” was born, a place where clients can experience both physical and emotional rejuvenation.

Continuous learning is crucial. If I could recommend one resource to everyone I meet, it would be the book “Attached” by Amir Levine and Rachel S. F. Heller. This book has profoundly impacted my understanding of both myself and others. It delves into how our earliest relationships with our parents shape our interactions with people throughout our lives. While reading it, I uncovered surprising insights about myself, realizing that there were aspects of my personality and behavior I hadn’t previously understood.
