Hi Jessica , thanks for joining us today. Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea
Fifteen years ago, my entrepreneurial journey began while working as an art director for a local yoga magazine. My mind was brimming with ideas that I simply couldn’t contain any longer, and I made the bold decision to jump ship. I refer to this as my “zero moment,” as I had no savings, no clients, and no clear plan of action. Nonetheless, I took a risk and founded DesignKREW. From that moment on, I’ve been motivated to assist those who help others.
It all started with a vision to create a business that would transform the way people interact with brands. We knew that in today’s crowded and competitive market, it’s not enough to just have a great product or service – you need to create a brand that stands out and resonates with customers.
Our first step was to conduct extensive research into our target audience, industry trends, and competitive landscape. This helped us identify gaps in the market and develop a unique value proposition that would differentiate us from the competition.
Next, we worked on developing our brand identity, including our name, logo, and messaging. We wanted our brand to convey positivity, creativity, and innovation, so we chose a name that reflected those values and designed a logo that was both memorable and visually appealing.
We then focused on building our online presence through social media, content marketing, and search engine optimization. This involved creating a website that was user-friendly and optimized for search engines, developing a content strategy that provided value to our target audience, and leveraging social media to build brand awareness and engagement.
As we grew our brand, we also focused on building strong relationships with our customers through excellent customer service and personalized experiences. We listened to their feedback, addressed their concerns, and constantly worked to improve our products and services.
Over time, our brand became known for its positive, creative, and innovative approach, and we attracted a loyal customer base that helped us grow and expand into new markets.
Looking back, the journey from idea to execution was challenging, but it was also incredibly rewarding. We had to figure out how to stand out in a crowded market, develop a strong brand identity, and build meaningful relationships with our customers. But by staying true to our values and focusing on creating a positive and memorable customer experience, we were able to build a successful business that continues to thrive today.
