We were lucky to catch up with Jessica Kitty Ortega bautista recently and have shared our conversation below.

Jessica Kitty , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Taking care of customers isn’t just good business – it is often one of the main reasons folks went into business in the first place. So, we’d love to get a conversation going around how to best help clients feel appreciated – maybe you can share something you’ve done or seen someone do that’s been really effective at helping a customer feel valued?

I have many ways to make my costumers feel special , one of them is creating a full 1 minute video after an event ( wedding , bday party or any celebration) for free , it’s just my way of saying thank you for supporting my business, another thing that I do is , arrive extra early and leave a little after the time the booked me , I want them to enjoy and don’t feel rush even if I have to stay a little longer ,

Jessica Kitty , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

My name is kitty I’m the owner of dare to dream gypsy , we are a classic car rental we also provide all kind of fun , picnics , photo shoots , all kind of events , one of our cars turned in to a bar and can be use as whatever you want it to be ,even as an ice cream truck , what set us apart from others is that we offer more than just the cars , we provide pretty much everything , all kind of props , decorations , tables , umbrellas , all kind of fun stuff , we create different set ups for different occasions and for all seasons for photo shoots we travel pretty much anywhere in eastern North Carolina

How’d you meet your business partner?

My business partner is my husband
I met him in high school when we lived in New York , we always knew we wanted to built something together but we didn’t know exactly what , until one day we realized that our passion for vintage cars was big enough to turn it in to a business, he is my right hand and my backbone we work perfectly together his ideas and mine go alone very well

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

It was during the pandemic when everything started , we saved all our money to transform our Volkswagen an in to something amazing but the pandemic made it really hard for us 😟 it took almost 1 year to be done , during that year I had to learn to be patient and to have faith , we didn’t see any money during that year and I almost gave up on my dream , I’m so glad I didn’t because now that Volkswagen van is my most requested car
