Alright, Jessica thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to start by getting your thoughts on what you are seeing as some the biggest trends emerging in your industry.

Some of the biggest trends I’m seeing in my industry is everyone trying to go viral and doing anything necessary to do so. However anybody can go viral these days ,so the beauty in it is just being you so people naturally gravitate towards you and what you do . Going viral for the wrong reasons bring the wrong crowd and your light will dem really fast

Jessica, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

My name is Jessica I’m a mother of 5 . I got in content creating by suprise . I started posting pictures of my son and everytime I would go back and look at the post he would have thousands of likes. Shortly afterwards having viral streak after another a friend of mine called me up and told me to turn my Instagram into a professional account and the rest is history. I think what sets me apart from other content creators is that I don’t follow trends I don’t compete I’m really in a lane of my own. I simply just post my son and his followers love him . We can do it all. I’m most proud of overcoming every obstacle that have tried to tear me down. Sometimes being the only sole provider for 5 children can take a tole on me but being a mother is my greatest joy. Having children is an assignment sent by God and as long I take care of them he takes care of me .

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

A lesson I had to unlearn is that life is over when you have kids early . I had 4 kids by the time I reached 25 so my 20s are kind of a her because they went so fast . One thing I learned in motherhood journey is that you don’t have to be perfect to be a mom. Growing with my children turned out to be a beautiful thing . I take much pride in the fact that I am not the same mother to my children that I was 10 years ago . You can make mistakes and still come out of top . Children didn’t stop my life they just made it more aligned .

How did you build your audience on social media?

My audience on social media came so organically , it wasn’t forced it wasn’t bought . I take so much pride in that and it shows whenever I make a post on social media . We have over 217k followers on instagram over 45k on tiktok and over 6k on Facebook. The best advice I can give someone wanting to try content creating is just to keep posting no matter how many likes or views you get because one day you’ll hit the right era of people who love what you do and the rest is history .
