We were lucky to catch up with Jessica Horn recently and have shared our conversation below.

Jessica , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?

I think it takes a lot to be successful, you have to be consistent even the days when you feel tired, you feel like you want to quit, you feel like you’re not getting support you have to keep on going. You have to remain true to yourself and block out the negativity.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

When I was about 6 or 7 years old I knew I wanted to be a model/actress, so I used to take acting classes and do modeling with an agency in my city, they ended up loving me, and they signed me to their agency. They offered me an opportunity to go to LA, but I ended up turning it down. Once I got older I still did modeling, because that was still a big passion of mine I took modeling classes even worked with a modeling agency and I just continued to perfect my craft. I then continued to do modeling, and I also started to create content like vlogs, grwms, try-on hauls, etc. I begin to love to just pick up my camera and record. When I continued to create content brands begin to reach out to me so at the end of the 2021 I said I was going to get a full team to help me with emails, getting more opportunities, etc. February 2022 I ended up making that happen, and I’ve been offered a lot of opportunities since then, I’m truly blessed.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

What has helped me build my reputation within my market is by strictly being myself. I feel like when you are being genuine within yourself, then the right people with gravitate towards you.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

How I’ve built my audience on social media is by being consistent and being myself. Whenever you are trying to build an audience you must be consistent, you can’t post one month then post another month, you have to be consistent and post quality content. Also, you can’t worry about who supports you and who doesn’t because a lot of people won’t support you even the people you think will, most of your support will come from strangers but don’t let that stop you. The last thing is to make sure to be yourself no matter what.
