Jessica, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Being a business owner can be really hard sometimes. It’s rewarding, but most business owners we’ve spoken sometimes think about what it would have been like to have had a regular job instead. Have you ever wondered that yourself? Maybe you can talk to us about a time when you felt this way?
I truly love being a business owner most days! What I enjoy most are the challenges and changes that come with it. I love planning and seeing those plans come to life, witnessing the results, and making decisions that have a real impact. Of course, things don’t always go as planned, and even the best ideas can have unexpected outcomes. But perhaps what I love most is the constant learning—learning about clients, about business, and about new ways to be more effective and impactful.
There are definitely days when I wonder if it would be easier to have a regular job, with regular hours and the ability to leave work at the office. The idea of a job where I could mindlessly work through the day without worrying about every small detail can be tempting, especially on those extra challenging days when nothing is going right. But deep down, I know that wouldn’t fulfill my true desires. I thrive on being challenged, and when I’m not learning or growing, I become lazy and complacent.
I have a deep passion for seeing other businesses succeed, and I know that to achieve this, I need to fully own every action I take within my own business. That level of ownership and impact simply wouldn’t be possible in a regular job.

I founded Business Buddy with the vision of providing comprehensive support to small and medium-sized businesses, helping them navigate the complexities of marketing, branding, and digital presence.
