Jessica, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with something countless entrepreneurs have had to figure out on the fly – how have you dealt with the rise of remote work?

Insite Strategy has been remote from day one!

My business is wherever I am, and wherever my laptop is. As long as I have WiFi, we’re good to go.

Jessica, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Insite Strategy is a global strategic communications consultancy.

Founded in 2019, we provide high quality communications and strategic consulting services to brands, organizations and individuals; with a focus on consumer goods, tech, travel and hospitality.

We specialize in telling your brand’s story and introducing you to a wider global audience.

We’ve found a niche in introducing brands that are doing things very differently than the status quo in their respective industries.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?

I’ve gotten the majority of my clients via word of mouth from my network! It seems counterintuitive for a publicist to not want to promote themselves, but I’ve done very little marketing for the business. I’m grateful to have gotten incredible opportunities through proof of my work and friends and colleagues who continue to refer incredible projects to me.

We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.

I started Insite as a side hustle while I was looking for other jobs after I left my previous agency.

It started with one small account, then another; I took on any kind of work within the communications realm that people would pay me for.

Three months in, I was making more per month than I had been at my previous role. That’s when I decided to give myself six months to see this through. It’s now been five and a half years.
