We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jessica Carranza . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jessica below.
Alright, Jessica thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
I feel life is full of opportunities and sometimes we just need to go for it. I’ts important to always challenge yourself and the most important to believe in you.
Sometimes things might not come out as we planned and thats okay!
What is not okay is giving up
I always live this phrase from one of the movies of jean claude van damme because my parents and I used to watch them all. And this phrase was “retroceder nunca, rendirse Jamás” and that I always keep in my mind.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m originally from Lima-Perú . I went to UVU and obtained a bachelor degree as a social worker. Currently I’m not working as a social worker because as a wife and a mom I need something with a flexible schedule. Besides doing Monat (skin, hair care and wellness) I obtained my license as a life insurance agent to be able to offers life insurance services to our community As a field underwriter I offer different services like IUL, funeral expenses insurance, easy term and more.
What set me apart from others is my professional ethic. I’m always looking whats best for my clients in every aspect. In business I always treat my clients like I would love to be treated if I were my own client.
For me There is no better complement than a referral.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
My professional ethic. As i mentioned before one of the things i always do in business is to treat people like i would of been treated if i were my own client. Besides business wide I do always try to be straight up with every aspect in my life. also just be myself and let the right people love for who i am.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Resilience for me means being able to hold on and keep going. Its the ability to over come and recover quickly from difficulties. Life is beautiful but at the same time is hard. There is always something to over come. For me my resilience started from coming to another country to over come a lot of obstacles such as seeing one of my sister mental health decrease to the point where she doesn’t do anything by herself, to financial hardships, to cultural challenges, and to even experience the death of my baby brother. Sometimes its hard to not give up but everything in life is a choice and you must choice what to fight for.
