We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jessica Brown a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Jessica, thanks for joining us today. What’s the best advice you ever gave to a client? How did they benefit / what was the result? (Please note this response is for education/entertainment purposes only and shouldn’t be construed as advice for the reader)
The best advice I have given anyone is be your best and authentic self. Throughout my field I have found there is this urge to allow outside distraction take over; to do what the next is doing or set expectation that might not be related to who you truly are. There are consistently trends to follow and outside influences. Part of my passion is to assist in removing the distractions and help people breathe and discovering their divine light or highest self. Everyone else is taken be your self. There is a reason you are in the place you’re in and at the time you are in it If you spend the time following the status quo you will never truly feel the moment. Whether if you are writing, dancing, making a speech, in relationship in business settings, alone it is very important that you bring you to the table. Everyone is different and that is the beauty of life.
In providing this advice to people I’ve observed a light that takes over. I’ve witnessed individual live in their power and go after opportunities they would have once resisted. I have seen others live in their eps and waves of life and not allow it to take over their essence. Benefits include being happier, a healthier mindset and a thirst for life.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
No one tells you about the empty classes. There are many Yoga Instructor in the field. I have found myself amongst the historian, skilled, beginner, brilliant, questionable, and unique. What has set me apart has been my knowledge, consistency and discipline. There have been a couple of classes where I have only had 1 student or no students and what I have found is that by sticking to self, discovering ways to improve and working with my community have allowed for more opportunities and fuller classes. By remaining disciplined steady and committed the opportunities come and I look forward to the full and un-full classes as they are both lessons and exposure to opportunities to look further within myself for better results.
