We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jessica Amicarella. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jessica below.
Jessica , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. So, let’s start with trends – what are some of the largest or more impactful trends you are seeing in the industry?
A new trend I see in the lash industry is creating every look with one lash! It is exciting as an artist, because it will lead to better retention and a healthier lash line over time!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I first started with a marketing degree from Cal State Northridge. Immediately following I got my hairstylist license and practiced hair for about a decade.
My family I made a couple moves, where we ended up in Windsor Colorado, where at the time not many woman were offering lash extensions.
This lead to learn lashes, and within a year it took over and I solely focused on perfecting my craft in 2013.

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?
I experienced organic growth in a small building where I had affordable rent.
This lead to to be able to purchase a building after five years of consistent saving where we have room grow.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
When I decided to restructure my salon about 18 months in, I lost everyone on my staff and had to recreate a new team
My new team allowed me to have a culture and work environment that allowed growth and able to service more clients.
