Jesse, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.

I had a great track record in high school and was making good grades in college. I decided to take the risk and drop out to pursue my dreams of being a full-time music producer. You should always bet on yourself.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I am a music producer. I have been into music my whole life. Music Production was just a natural path for me. I fell in love with it.

I offer full song production from start to finish. This typically looks something like this:

An artist has written a song. They send me the demo and I produce an instrumental that matches their song demo. Then they record their final vocal takes and send the vocal files back to me. At that point I would then mix and master the track for release.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

The most rewarding part of my creative job is helping bring people’s visions to life. I love helping a recording artist move their career forward. I love helping them have breakthroughs and make great art.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

I don’t have that big of a following. But what I have done that works well is consistently posting. There really is no hack or cheat code with most things. Just be consistent and genuine. Show what it is you do and show your personality and you will grow an authentic fan base/following.
