Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jesse Moore. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jesse, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?
Moore Creative Bones is a family business that creates bizarre sculptures made entirely of authentic animal bones. Established in 1993 by Reese Moore and passed down to two of his five sons, Christopher Moore and Jesse Moore, in the hope of carrying on the family legacy and passing it down through the generations while providing unique items for museums to display worldwide.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Halloween, 1993 Reese Moore created an assortment of dinosaur skeletons made from the bones of approximately 30 species of animals native to Florida. A family friend and local biker bar owner was intrigued by the unique decorations and offered to purchase one of the 9-foot dinosaurs. However, Reese gifted it to him, saying, “Come back in a couple of days, ill build you a motorcycle for Bike Week” Taking on the challenge to create a full-size motorcycle, he disassembled the bones from the remaining dinosaur sculptures and reassembled it into something that has been displayed year-round at one of the most popular bars on Main Street for the past 30 years. In 2012 Jesse Moore built the family’s fourth motorcycle sculpture to display during Daytona’s 71st annual Bike Week when he came in contact with Ripleys Believe It or Not. This “motorcycle” was the first of seven sculptures constructed by the Moore family (Reese, Christopher, and Jesse) to be bought and showcased internationally in four different countries by Ripley’s. In 2022, following the death of Reese Moore, the company built a “motorcycle” in his honor and renamed the company Moore Creative Bones LLC. The company is a veteran-owned and operated business managed by Tanika Rich (wife of Jesse Moore), and the two brothers are the company’s builders. 10% of all company income goes to certified veteran organizations to help those in need and allow the opportunity to let people sit to get photographed on these life-size sculptures to raise funding and the awareness of multiple local veteran organizations.
How’d you meet your business partner?
Moore Creative Bones LLC is equally owned/operated by three individuals Christopher, Jesse, and Tanika. As brothers, Chris and Jesse grew up helping their father build these unique items as well as museums, went on hundreds of archaeological digs, captured/relocated thousands of dangerous reptiles, stone mason work, and much more. So the two brothers had their share of working together in strange situations that others don’t get the opportunity to experience. In 2012 Jesse joined the Army, serving as an NCO in the Infantry for eight years, where he met his wife Tanika, who also served in the Army as one of the U.S. Army’s first 100 Female Infantrymen. Upon exiting the service, Tanika attended Keiser University, majoring in business accounting, in order to successfully run Moore Creative Bones LLC. The family and military background has proven to be a vital foundation for the business’s success.
