Growing up in foster care in Shreveport, Louisiana, I experienced firsthand the challenges faced by at-risk youth. From a young age, I was confronted with instability and uncertainty, navigating a system that often felt impersonal and overwhelming. As I entered adulthood, these challenges only intensified, leading to periods of homelessness and even incarceration.
However, amidst the turmoil, I had a realization that would change the course of my life. I recognized that I had the power to defy the odds, to rise above my circumstances and create a better future for myself. This epiphany ignited a fire within me—a passion for personal growth and a determination to help others facing similar struggles.
Driven by my own experiences, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery and transformation. Along the way, I encountered countless individuals—fellow foster youth, homeless individuals, and troubled youth—each with their own stories of resilience and perseverance. These encounters shaped my understanding of the profound impact that support, guidance, and opportunities can have on someone’s life.
It was this realization that inspired me to establish my company, rooted in a mission to empower and uplift those facing adversity. My mission is not just a statement—it’s a reflection of my deeply held belief that everyone deserves a chance to thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Through my work as a motivational speaker, change specialist, and advocate, I strive to provide hope, inspiration, and practical support to those in need. Whether it’s through mentorship programs, outreach initiatives, or community partnerships, every effort is guided by the belief that growth is the catalyst for greatness.

My journey into the speaking industry was not a traditional one—it found me, driven by a deeply held belief that obedience is better than sacrifice. Through my personal experiences and unwavering determination, I have carved out a niche for myself as a motivational speaker, change specialist, and advocate for at-risk youth.
My speaking engagements are not just about sharing my story; they’re about inspiring and empowering others to overcome adversity and realize their full potential. With authenticity and passion, I captivate audiences with my relatable anecdotes, candid insights, and practical advice for navigating life’s challenges.
In addition to my speaking engagements, I offer a range of products and services aimed at supporting individuals on their journey to personal growth and transformation. What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
A lesson I had to unlearn was the idea that perfection is attainable or necessary for success. Growing up, there was a strong emphasis on getting everything right the first time, which often led to fear of failure and reluctance to take risks. However, as I gained more life experience, I realized that mistakes and setbacks are inevitable parts of the learning process. The backstory involves a series of instances where I hesitated to pursue opportunities or express myself fully due to the fear of not meeting unrealistic standards. Over time, I learned that embracing imperfection and learning from failures is essential for personal growth and achieving success on my own terms. This shift in mindset has allowed me to take more risks, explore new avenues, and ultimately, lead a more fulfilling life.
How do you keep your team’s morale high?
One key piece of advice for managing a team and maintaining high morale is to foster open communication and create a supportive environment where team members feel valued and heard. Regularly check in with your team to gauge their well-being, address any concerns, and celebrate achievements together. Encourage collaboration and recognize individual contributions to cultivate a sense of belonging and ownership within the team. Additionally, provide opportunities for growth and development, empowering team members to take on new challenges and expand their skills. Lastly, lead by example by demonstrating positivity, resilience, and empathy, as your attitude and behavior can greatly influence the morale and productivity of your team.
