Jeremy, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Have you been able to earn a full-time living from your creative work? If so, can you walk us through your journey and how you made it happen? Was it like that from day one? If not, what were some of the major steps and milestones and do you think you could have sped up the process somehow knowing what you know now?

As so many creatives begin their journies, I too started with dozens of jobs in the creative space. Through freelance drumming, educating, composing and arranging, as well as music production and songwriting. I had to piece together small opportunities and small wins, to transform them into networking opportunities, which then led to great opportunities.

As I started performing hundreds of shows per year and producing numerous songs for artists internationally, I was able to thin the vast amount of work and focus more on where my gifts truly lay. Giving way to playing on larger stages and having creative projects with musicians and artists across the globe.

My gift of creating relationships through networking and bringing value into those relationships was essential. So often, the seeds I was planting took months and oftentimes years to grow and produce.

This is led to me being able to create and sustain a full-time living as a creative. More importantly, a sustainable and continually evolving one. Not stale. Not a heartache.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Over a year ago I made the commitment to merely post once a day for a year. In that time period, my engagement has been 10x. What started as a few likes, a or two comments, and even some daily “crickets,” has blossomed into dozens of likes, comments, and even some in-depth conversations. It is persistently and consistently posting for your audience. Yes, your audience. You have your story, your message, and your brand and it is your opportunity to encourage, motivate, and educate those who are watching.

Please remember, there are WAY more people watching than you will EVER know. You will be surprised months or years down the road when people will come up to you and mention something they read, watched, or experienced from your posts that helped them change a situation or even the direction in their life. I have had this happen multiple times, and it is what keeps me posting. Even when there may be days I don’t want to or don’t think I have anything to share.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?

This is one of my favorite stories! My business partner, Danny Galvez II, and I met while he was producing a podcast episode where I was the interviewee. He heard my story, heard my passion, and reached out immediately to connect. He was producing podcast episodes for clients and had some gaps and opportunities in his process. We both went into the conversation with the intent to merely help one another grow our businesses separately. Once we were halfway through, I stop us. I just said, “Why don’t we be partners and do this together.” We were a great fit as we checked boxes for our weaknesses with each others’ strengths. Making us a power duo for producing and creating podcasts and the content around them. Our company Monumental Voice Media is an industry leader in producing video and audio podcasts for entrepreneurs, business owners, and brands across the US.
