We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jeremy Sanders. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jeremy below.
Alright, Jeremy thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?
I guess you can say that I’ve always been musical. I come from a long lineage of musicians, preachers, and pastors. The idea and thought of music has always been around me. Attending Willowridge High School honestly change the game for me and push me to a place where I wanted to take music serious and pursue it for real.
I’m not sure if I would’ve wanted to do anything to speed up the process musically. I believe the process is necessary to allow you to see how far you’ve grown. I’m grateful for every platform I’ve had the opportunity to share, I’ve learned something from each given opportunity given.
The skill most essential for me is listening and discerning. I’ve learned so much by just taking the time to carefully assess What the room needs, what the artist needs, and how I can be my best in every scenario. Discernment is a God-given gift that’s necessary to be the most palatable for your audience.
I think for me, I am incredibly hard on myself. I think as I’ve grown over the years I’ve learned to relax more, be OK with the fact that people love me for who I am and not who I want to be. Living and operating in my own skin has allowed me to be better for those who are recipients of any platform I’ve ever been able to step on.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
Honestly tell everyone that I’m just a fat kid who loves Jesus LOL. Everything else is just a byproduct of my relationship with him. I created an interesting crew of people by the name of Sounds of Kingdom and we worship God freely and invite others into gods presence just as His goodness is to us.
Our clear assignment is to allow people to experience Freedom in the presence of God. Anytime you experience our ministry, that’s most likely the end result. I’m grateful for that! Our first album will release this upcoming fall 2022 and I’m super excited about it! It’s in titled The Kingdom Experience #Live and I cannot wait for the world to hear what God has given us!

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist, or shall I say a creative is the opportunity to see people benefit from what God has downloaded into me. Awkward me. It shows me that my distinctive difference is what people are still looking for these days. I’m honored to be who I am for others.

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?
Support the next generation. Please understand that we are on borrowed time and that the next generation is bound to do greater, bigger, and more extraordinary works than previous generation. I get excited about that because it shows how limitless God really is. Support the next generation, don’t shun them. They will benefit from it, I promise they will.
