We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jeremy Phelps . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jeremy below.
Jeremy , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
The first time I knew I wanted to pursue music was At a very young age, I was always surrounded by instruments. my cousin was a drummer, and I would even hop On his drums when I was a Toddler. I’ve always had a passion for music and even in high school when I didn’t have any equipment, I would try to make music by playing two songs at a party through two separate YouTube links trying to time them perfectly and blend them and all that it was fun. I knew that I wanted to do this professionally after playing my first real shows And festivals. Realizing you can get paid to do the what you love is a pretty eye-opening thing.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

For me, the most rewarding thing about creating and mixing music is the joy and happiness and sensitive accomplishment that I get from creating and performing this music. I would say that another very rewarding thing I’ve noticed from this journey is the inspiration And motivation it gives others To create some of their own or to simply just enjoy music with others in public and make new connections and friends.
What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?
The best thing anyone can do for the community, even if You’re not an artist is to get involved. help anyway that you can and in that process, anyone in society can find a place where they feel welcomed and inspired by this thriving creative ecosystem. It’s definitely how I found Music and became inspired to produce and mix my own.
